When Mirek Carter founded Waterwise Landscaping in 2007, he was already a renowned horticulturalist with decades of hands-on experience. What began as a small team has grown into a full-service landscape design and construction business serving Perth metro and regional WA.

While we’ve grown in size, our roots haven’t shifted. We remain committed to client satisfaction and excellence in sustainable landscape design. Through clear communication, practical solutions and an integrated ‘Design and Construct’ approach, we’ve become the trusted partner for property developers, leading homebuilders, mining clients and owner-builders.

Mirek Carter

Founder and Head Designer Mirek brings decades of experience in Perth’s landscaping industry. With deep horticultural knowledge and a hands-on approach, he leads the business with a focus on sustainable design and quality construction.

David Martinez

David brings nearly a decade of international and Western Australian experience to the Waterwise Landscaping team. Trained as an architect in Ecuador, he specialises in sustainable, concept-driven landscape design that respects and enhances the natural environment. As our in-house Landscape Architect, David transforms creative ideas into practical, build-ready plans, working closely with clients, builders and designers to deliver outdoor spaces that are visually striking, functional and environmentally responsible.

Richard John

Richard runs the construction team and oversees on-site activities. With more than 30 years of industry experience, he brings precision and care to every project. Whether he’s on the tools or managing the team, the final result always exceeds expectations.

Danielle Carter

Danielle manages the day-to-day operations, from scheduling and ordering to client communication. She ensures each project runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her extensive experience and attention to detail are highly valued by our clients and our team.

What We Deliver

We focus on larger-scale landscape design and construction projects where our experience and systems deliver the most value. That includes landscape architecture for new builds, commercial landscaping construction, housing developments and subdivisions. We are one of the few landscape companies in Perth capable of taking on large-scale projects with a fully in-house team.
